Finally found what I was looking for!

After searching in stores and online for a nice, thick half-moon shaped hearth rug, I finally found it!! This rug is a beautiful rich navy color and is really thick and plush. I highly recommend this rug!

Looks much nicer in person than online. Wool, soft, thick and easy to clean. Stands up to much abuse and a quick vacuum and looks new again. Looks great in front of the fireplace.

Very Nice

We ordered this after having our fireplace converted back to wood burning from gas logs. Figured that it might protect the carpeting if a spark escaped. It looks great and seems to be well made. We are quite satisfied with it.
