i think my husband loves this pellet stove more than me
By Heather Quinn
right now our husband and i are using this little baby to heat our entire house which is not a mansion but is by no means small. my husband is on the war path about the cost of oil and refuses to use our burner. i'm not saying that the bedrooms don't get chilly (the way our house is designed is most of it is on one floor and the bedrooms are partitioned off from the rest of the house by a series of doors), but the common areas in which we spend the most time are toasty warm. i tend to get hot so i leave the stove on the lowest setting most of the times and that's enough to warm the house. it's a good looking piece of "furniture" and doesn't detract from the room. it eats about a bag of pellets a day on the lower settings and is virtually no work. it stays lit without any tending, reignites easily once it has been turned off, and only requires a vaccumming out every day or so to collect the excess ash. if you buy one, which i recommend, you need to buy the ash vac with it because trust me you will be using it and you don't want hot ash going into your regular vac..

Good and bad.
By Jay Graham
I got the unit installed which is very easy after finding the stove pipe parts I needed. Will run you about $300 if you are connecting to an existing pipe set up and $700 if you need to run a full chimney liner kit.

First thing I noticed is the air intake aluminum pipe was missing but I did not hook up a fresh air intake so no problem. Second is I filled the hopper, IT DOES NOT HOLD 120LBS as stated. I wanted this larger hopper so I did not have to refill very often. I would estimate the hopper at 90lbs, just over two bags but no where near three.

Stove ran okay the first couple days but after fine tuning the air intake level up a bit it is running very clean. System uses about a bag a day on the lowest setting. It is in a poorly isolated old garage/shop so this is running constantly day and night.

So far satisfied but wish the hopper was as advertised.
