ends my frustration...

i bought this because i am so tired of lame coffee-cup warmers that keep the liquid at luke-(or less)warm temperatures and/or fail altogether with the speed of kids on caffeine. i use the carafe warmer to keep my coffee/tea/etc steaming hot while i read, study or type papers. the warmer is large enough to accommodate really big mugs, too. (this idea isn't for everyone, though. be aware that mugs can get EXTREMELY hot while on the warmer. also, there is no auto shutoff, so receptacles can boil dry if not watched carefully. also need to keep small children and spouses from touching the HOT surface--this item will definitely keep your coffee carafe hot!) bottom line, this is one of the best investments i've made this year.

Bunn warmers.....corporate lovin' without getting the "big one."

This baby does exactly what it says it does. It keeps that extra pot of coffee hot for times when having one pot of coffee around just isn't enough. When all those pesky extra people leave, you clean it up, unplug it and store it for when the next group of squatters show up. Why buy a Bunn with extra warmers that you are not going to use all the time which also uses more space then routinely needed? Bunn gets major common sense points for thinking outside the "we gotta sell it all" box and giving the consumer a nice choice for different situations. Get two and move them any where you need them. Kinda like being able to put anything you need between you Bunn's. Good on ya Bunn!

too hot for me

This is a very large heavy duty coffee pot warmer, not a mug warmer. It would have worked for me except there is only one setting and that is scalding hot. Too hot for me to drink anything I keep warm with it. It is also 100 watts .
