No More Worry

Our son was always leaving the heater switch on in our bathrooms ... no longer do we worry he is going to burn the house down. Easy to install and only runs for 15 minutes. Peace of mind at a cheap price. Should have done this years ago!!!!!!!!!

Well though out and simple to use

I purchased both the cream colored and the white colored version of this product (Intermatic FD15MWC 15-Minute Spring Loaded Wall Timer, White). Oddly, while both versions come from Amazon.com, the cream colored version costs a bit more even though it is identical excepting the color of the plastic. I have a more extensive review for the white version (with installation hints) so I won't repeat it here. Suffice it to say, this is a 5-star solution for getting your bathroom vent fan to run for a timed period, then shut off. A spring powered device may be low tech, but it would take a rather elaborate (and expensive) solid state device to outperform this one.

Great

Perfect for bathroom fans and bathroom heaters. Perfect for rental units where the landlord pays the bills. Perfect for bathrooms where the significant other forgets to turn off the heater/light/fan after they're done. The spring holds up better than other similar models. I had a cheap off-brand that went out after 3 years, it's just stuck in the on-position. That's why I get these now. They are basically the standard.
