But it also starts to mark your carpet up with a black streak as it arcs out when opened. I don't know yet if it will come out with a steam cleaner.

Just what we needed

We had a space under the front door that allowed a cold draft to sneak in. This is just the ticket! It is easy to install and looks nice. At first I wasn't so sure, because the tube is made of cardboard and the fuzzy sleeve slides over it. No worries, it rolls along the carpet and stays put. Works perfect.
